Cookie Policy
What browser storage, cookies, and security technologies AfroLegal uses, why they are used, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 10 March 2026
1. Overview
AfroLegal keeps website tracking intentionally limited. We currently use essential browser storage and security technologies needed to operate forms, prevent abuse, and remember basic interface state.
2. Technologies currently in use
- Essential browser storage: used for core interface behaviour where relevant, such as maintaining minimal UI state.
- Security and abuse-prevention tooling: form protection and request validation may rely on browser-side signals or temporary tokens to distinguish real users from bots or malicious traffic.
- Server-side security logs: requests may be logged for rate limiting, fraud detection, and incident response.
3. What we do not currently use
We do not currently operate advertising cookies, retargeting trackers, affiliate trackers, or optional analytics cookies on this site as part of the live public configuration.
4. Third-party providers
Some security or infrastructure providers may use their own technical mechanisms to protect forms and site traffic. When you follow a support payment link to an external payment provider, that provider's own cookie and privacy rules apply on its platform.
5. Managing cookies and storage
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing storage may remove saved preferences and can affect form or interface behaviour.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security
- Safari: Settings / Preferences > Privacy
- Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services
6. Future changes
If we later enable optional analytics or additional cookie-controlled features, we will update this page and implement any necessary consent controls before doing so.
